Some Parker Knolls are more equal than others, one might say, since the old English furniture maker had a large presence in South Africa in the 1960's. Most of the Parker Knoll furniture that South Africans bought were made right here in a few factories, but sometimes some of the English made furniture would be imported, such as this lavish wing back, made in High Wycombe in England.
Are the real English ones better than their locally cousins? Nah, we don't think so, but if you want to believe it, feel free!
We re-upholstered the chair in an off-white towards grey quality fine weave.
Condition: Restored.
