A 1960's beauty of an egg-type swivel and rocking chair. Vono Furniture was a British company who mainly made beds in the early 20th century but decided to concentrate on furniture "for the export market" after 1965. This Scandinavian derived design is a wonderful testament to British manufacturing excellence. After almost sixty years we could just recover it, reinforce the base, and it is good to go.
The upholstery is a mauve pink melton type fabric.
* By the way, the name Vono stands for "Vaughan Only, No Other". The company from Tipton was founded by Ernest Vaughan in 1896.
