A reproduction of an oil painting by John Thomas Young Gilroy, who was born at the end of the 19th century and died in 1985, was most well-known for his famous advertising posters of the Irish stout, Guinness, featuring a zoo-keeper and animals drinking Guinness.
Gilroy was fond of exotic themes, as is clear in this expressive painting of a flamboyant flamenco dancing couple.
Condition: Fair. Some wear consistent with age on the frame and the print itself. Framed. No glass.
