This old haberdashery counter has been brought back from near demise by the Huisraad Modern team. We estimate it to date from the 1940's. It's been standing in rain and sunshine under a tree in Pretoria for many years, until its previous owner asked us to remove it. The aluminium and wood frame, the glass, and the Oregon drawer faces are all original.
We've replaced some plywood panels and some drawer sides and bottoms. It has twelve drawers and two large shelf-cavities at the bottom.
Condition: Restored. This is old shopfitting and not precision cabinetry.
