Only a small amount of mid-century modern furniture in South Africa was made with teak veneer, like in Scandinavia, but this is one of the rare pieces, made by the exceptional South African manufacturer, Frystark, in the sixties. The design is not retro but classical Scandinavian modernist. It has three mirrors, the smaller two of which can swivel.
