A beautifully preserved, mid-century modern Scandinavian sideboard. Although the design is modernist, it has with organic elements like the curved corners and hand carved detail on the cabinet doors. The doors have a marquetry finish as well, from what seems to be a very light maple wood. The whole cabinet has this finish. The base is solid. The sideboard has three drawers, two of which are behind doors.
Inside two of the drawers were handwritten notes in Swedish, and although we cannot claim that this piece was made in Sweden, it is most certainly Scandinavian.
Condition: Not restored. Exceptional original condition. One scratch (5 cm long) on the side. See the last picture for detail.
