A pretty South African example of mid-century modernism. This corner unit has a simple design with straight lines and good proportions. The wooden base creates a floating feel and because of this particular feature and shape of the front beam, we assume that this rare unit was made by Duros.
The unit consists of a two and a three seater with loose seat cushions. The fabric is a fine weave with undertones of green and a grey-ish brown, with a single thread of pink here and there - a very charming colour combination.
Condition: Very good, restored and re-upholstered two years ago.
