A vintage Scandinavian modern wingback chair, of unknown origin. The first record of it is that it was sold in a second hand furniture store in Mellville, Johannesburg, in the 60's.
It has a wide, almost spoon like back and beautifully curved arms that extend to become the front legs. The previous owner had it re-upholstered in a brocade, but before it was covered with a green velvet, and we decided to return it to that look.
Condition: New upholstery with the wood stripped and sealed.
Dimensions: 76 (w) x 87 (d) 93 cm (h) and 39 cm seat height.
