A vintage oak sewing cabinet attached to a small trolley. The cabinet has concertina-style boxes that open out in tiers on metal arms, so the contents are in full view and within reach. The top has two hinged, lidded compartments, each with a timber pull and divided into sections for small items such as threads, needles, and buttons. A larger open compartment sits below them.
The trolley beneath has a lower shelf for patterns, fabric, or a work in progress, and it rolls on four castors, so the cabinet can be wheeled to wherever the sewing is being done. When it is folded closed, it looks like a neat oak cabinet and could also serve as a side table
Condition: Good vintage condition, new satin varnish finish.
