A large, teak, museum display case by Brimble & Briggs, a Cape shopfitting company that was established in the early years of the previous century.
The case has two large display comparments with glass doors that hinge upward. It stands firm on four spade legs. This lovely piece served many decades in a museum, a university library, or a jewelry store.
It is ideal for the display and protection of valuable collections. Brimble & Briggs Ltd was a great Cape shopfitting company in the era when shopfitting still entailed high end design and cabinet making skills.
Condition: Good. Not restored. Light wear consistent with age. No keys.
