A beautiful specimen of the South African made oak daybeds from the 30's and 40's. This one was owned by four generations of the factory worker who made it.
The bed is still in near original condition with the back that drops down still in working condition. It also still has its original spring foundation in good condition, which is rare. It was recently re-upholstered in a midnight blue fabric. The cushion is new.
Condition: Good with exquisite patina.
