Priced as a pair.
A pair of cast busts of the composers Frédéric Chopin and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, each on a stepped square plinth. The Chopin bust is the larger of the two and has his name moulded in capitals on the band beneath the bust. Mozart is shown in an eighteenth-century coat with a ruffled cravat, and his name is moulded on the front of the plinth. The initials G.R. are stamped into the base, which may be a maker’s mark. The Mozart bust has a smooth, matt finish, and the Chopin has a slightly glossier, creamier one.
Condition: Good vintage condition. The Chopin bust has some dark scuff marks on the coat and a few small dark specks on the face and cravat. The Mozart bust has light brown discolouration on the nose, hair, and cravat.
