A vintage gooseneck floor lamp from around the 1970s, with a steel shaft and a steel domed shade. It has been given a new cherry-red powder coat finish. The lamp stands on a circular weighted base. A flexible black plastic gooseneck joint sits below the domed spotlight head. The bayonet-style bulb holder is brass.
The lamp is influenced by mid-century, space age European lighting design. Its simple tubular shaft and rounded head make it a good reading light beside an armchair or a sofa.
Condition: Very good vintage condition with a new powder coat finish. There is a dent in the shade.
