Art Deco Two-Light Pendant with Fluted Glass Shades

An Art Deco two-light pendant lamp in chrome with opal white glass shades. The shades are elongated and taper to a rounded base, and each one is capped with a chrome fitting. A curved chrome arm carries each shade from a central housing, which has a band of warm brown Bakelite between two chrome sections. A slim chrome stem runs up to a domed ceiling cup.

Fluted shades like these are less common than the round glass globes found on most Art Deco pendants, so the lamp makes a good alternative for a dining room, an entrance hall, or a landing. The pendant has been wired, and it must be installed by a qualified electrician for safety.

Condition: Very good vintage condition. The chrome shows light wear and spotting that comes with age, the Bakelite is intact, and the glass shades are original.
