This pair of club chairs dates from the Art Deco period and features the stepped, skyscraper-style backrest profile characteristic of the movement. The arms and outer frames are constructed in a rich reddish-brown hardwood, with a diamond-shaped inlay detail set into each arm front. The frames are upholstered in a dusty terracotta faux leather, finished with decorative brass stud trim along the seams. The seat cushions and inner backrests are covered in a contrasting dusty pink floral jacquard fabric. Each chair stands on short block feet in a matching dark wood finish.
