Two early Halliburton aluminium suitcases, designed by aircraft engineers in the late 1930s and built throughout the 1940s and 50s. The same thinking that went into aircraft panels went into this shell — stamped aluminium, high rigidity, clean lines. It predates the twin-rib profile that later made Zero Halliburton a household name among a certain kind of traveller, which makes this one the more interesting find.
They have heavy-duty chrome central keyed lock, two spring-loaded side toggle latches, and a coloured plastic handle that puts it firmly in its era.

Condition: Good vintage condition with signs of use
