Industrial Typist Chair

A vintage mid-century swivel office chair on a four-star chrome base with hooded caster wheels. The backrest and seat are upholstered in black vinyl with stitched piping detail. The backrest is supported by a tubular chrome-plated steel frame with a central height-adjustable cylinder. A solid, functional example of the utilitarian machinist or tanker chair typology common in European and American workspaces of the 1950s and 60s.

Condition: Good vintage. The chrome is intact and shows age-appropriate wear. The vinyl is in good condition.
