A mid-century six-seater dining table and six chairs from Truline, a Cape Town furniture establishment from the previous mid-century. The honey blonde wood finish of the table top has a smooth and even grain, most likely elm. The top floats on a solid frame made from the same wood type, as are the chair frames.
The chairs have slightly splayed legs and distinctive curved, oval shape backs. The new upholstery is stain-proof Loomcraft Gatsby Polyester, the colour is Calypso. Look at the close-up pictures for the best representation of the colour and texture of the fabric.
Condition: Very good, restored. Two joints of one chair are visibly repaired, this frame as well as the other chairs are sturdy nonetheless.
