A single open arm lounge chair with a gabled back and an oak frame with a sculpted profile.
All the elements, as well as the coir stuffing indicate that this chair dates form the 1930's or 1940's. The coir was removed and the shape of the seat and backs were rebuilt, using the original coil springs as foundation. The new upholstery is a light cream colour bouclé style velvet sofa fabric, that has been treated with a stain guard.
