A magnificent and over sized, solid oak display and haberdashery cabinet from the 1930s, made by Brimble and Briggs in Cape Town for the photography section of Noyes pharmacy in Newlands. The top part has heavy glass pane doors and multiple glass shelves that rest on the original steel brackets. The bottom half has a display area too, with a single shelf and glass doors and below this, eight drawers with sculpted handles.
The top and bottom parts can be separated for transport.
Condition: Excellent, restored.
