Two iconic Raymond Loewy (1958) enameled cast "Coquelle" casseroles for Le Creuset in flame orange. They are in unused condition.

The shallow casseroles are marked 3.5 and 2.5 respectively in their lids.

Loewy (1893 - 1986), a French-American designer best known for Lucky Strike cigarette packaging, Greyhound buses, Studebaker cars, Concorde interiors, Coca-Cola dispensers and much more, was known as the father of industrial design.

The Raymond Loewy Coquelle was first made by Le Creuset in 1958, but a limited edition was released in 2014. Judged by the condition of these two pots, they are most likely from the 2014 edition.

Condition: Very good.

Dimensions 33 x 23 x 11 cm (h) and 29.5 x 20.5 x 10 cm (h)
