This incredible little fold up table or tray, was made in the late 1930's or 1940's in Hayes in Middlesex, England, by the 'X'-Chair Patent Company. It has slender, spade legs and bears the maker's mark.The lever mechanism on the underside was a clever new patent for the time. It still works perfectly today.
Condition: Good. Sanded and sealed.
Dimensions: 68.5 (w) x 43 (d) x 58.5 cm (h) and 6.5 cm when folded.
