Several famous Danish designers made versions of this basic design, but also the iconic Welsh mid-century furniture company, Remploy. It is basically an expandable teak drinks trolley that becomes a drinks table when the top is opened. It has an extra, removable tray that rests on the lower struts.
This is a quintessential mid-century item, that is practical, elegant, and somehow also a little flamboyant.
Condition: Very good. Slight veneer damage on one panel has been professionally repaired.
Dimensions: 84 x 84 x 54 cm (h). When folded, the top is 42 cm wide.
