This unique, vintage shelf was probably handmade by a cabinet maker with a small workshop since it is the first one like this that we see. It is ideal for as a book shelf in modernist apartment, or for books in a bedroom.
It is made with two strikingly different types of wood. The flat shelves are a solid yellow wood, what we think is saligna, and the upright parts and base was made with panga panga, otherwise known as partridge wood. The wood is thick and heavy and no cost was spared.
