Magriet Theron is a documentary photographer but not a photo journalist. She documents fleeting moments in which the aesthetic is often as important as the content. This group of pictures represents nature photography as it has rarely been seen. It is a series from a visit to the extreme northwestern part of Namibia in 2013 mainly of the notorious Van Zyl's Pass and the Marienfluss.
Magriet has worked an exhibited in Pretoria, Johannesburg, Ladybrand, Grahamstown, Oudtshoorn, and Cape Town. Magriet is also the owner and founder of Huisraad.co.za, a virtual vintage furniture shop.
This limited and signed black and white series of ten pictures is printed with archival ink on archival paper. The pictures are size A2 and framed.
