This Frystark dresser is made of a combination of solid wood, quality veneer and crystal clear mirrors. It is in a great condition. It has five drawers, four tapered feet, three mirrors, two previous owners (Huisraad counts as one) and an original key. Frystark furniture has been manufactured in Port Elizabeth since 1948, but brothers Derick and Douglas Frye preferred to shop for veneers, oils and designs in Europe. In the 1960's they moved to Cape Town to join forces with the Starke furniture manufacturing company. This dresser was produced in that time, before the company was taken over by Afcol in 1974. The cabinet is 1 510 mm wide, 680 mm high and 440 mm deep. Including the mirrors, it is 1 220 mm high.
