A solid sapele mahogany wood dining table for six, by South African leader in mid-century modern furniture, DS Vorster. The sides are curved slightly, the corners are rounded and the top has, what is called in carpentry, an ogee edge. The legs taper and have a slight outward angle.
The six chairs that are part of the set, are not available any more, but look at a similar set by Artecasa here.
Condition: Very good, the top has been sanded and varnished.
