A bentwood banana rocking chair that dates from the 1930's. This "utility rocker" - as war time furniture is also referred to - is newly covered in a charcoal grey weave with a high rub count.
The imbuia arms have a matt, oiled finish. The seat and back is a single, curved and comfortable unit.
The spring rocking mechanism work well.
It is photographed with two identical banana chairs - one upholstered in a fuchsia pink linen weave and the other in a 100% cotton print by Design Team.
Condition: Very good.
Dimensions: 65.5 x 85 x 83 cm (h). The seat is 34 cm high.
