There are a few versions of this classic John Tabraham design in the world. Most of them were made by the Kallenbach company. This version stands out since the back has solid wood slats instead of straps or wires, elegant finger joints, and curved stretchers between the legs. It also has a third support leg in the middle, which is unusual for this design.
These sets are increasingly scarce - they come up for sale in Huisraad Modern at a rate of more or less once a year. The wood has been sanded and sealed and we made completely new cushions with an off-white quality weave and high-density layered with super soft foam. The strapped base underneath the cushions is new.
A pair of chairs that goes with this sofa can be found here.
Dimensions: 184 (w) x 71 (d) x 71 (h) and 43 cm seat height.
