Aesthetically, these chairs have so much going for them. They have a retro quality that celebrates the sixties with the zig-zag frames and gold edging, they have Danish sophistication, with the lovely tapered legs and the beautiful dimensions of the design, and they have been re-upholstered by the best artisans in the Cape, with a light and fair Hertex weave.
The set was made in South Africa in the sixties under the Alpine brand. Originally, it had very retro vinyl combined with a red floral fabric.
Condition: Very good vintage. Upholstery restored.
