Priced per chair.

A pair of vintage South African Airflex lounge chairs - one with and one without arms. They form part of a set that includes a settee. The frames of this set are solid Imbuia wood. The cushions are new and the upholstery is a grainy charcoal weave. (Look at the close-up pictures of the fabric for the best representation.)

Airflex used to be one of the more productive South African furniture companies in the sixties, and they were not afraid to be adventurous in design. This iconic set has clean, modernist lines, the seats are wide and fairly low. The beautiful slatted backs make for an especially classy sight from behind too.

Condition: Very good. Restored.

Dimensions:

With arms: 78 x 70 x 64 cm (h) and 38 cm seat height

Without arms: 63 x 70 x 64 cm (h) and 38 cm seat height
