A mahogany brutalist sofa with three seats. It has new cushions - the seat cushions are thick, high density foam with a soft layer to be comfortable, yet firm. The back cushions fit tightly into a boxed frame. The wood is solid - this is a very heavy sofa.
Brutalism refers to the use of raw materials with stark lines. The term is predominantly used for harsh concrete architecture from the 1950's. We thought it fit to choose a grey rough weave for the upholstery.
Two armchairs and a two seat sofa are also available.
Condition: Very good. The structure is sound and the wood is sanded and has a satin varnished finish.
Dimensions: 228 x 72 x 84 cm (h) and 44 cm seat height.
