An imposing E.E. Meyer for 'Binnehuis', solid imbuia, dining table from the 1960's. The top is solid wood as opposed to veneered tops on most other tables from the era.
It departs from the usual sparse and modern Scandinavian style of the era. It is a heavy and generous dining table, fit for a hunting hut or a thatch roof bar in the bushveld.
This is a top quality vintage product, it is sturdy and barely shows it's age. Six to eight chairs fit comfortably around it.
A Welsh dresser, from the same range, is available here. Pictured with six 'Binnehuis' chairs available here.
Condition: Very good.
