Magnificent 1940's Law Office Filing Cabinets - sold individually
The price is per item.
Two solid wood, over sized cabinets, originally made for a Cape Town law firm around the 1940's. The top parts have pigeon holes with horizontal dividers that can slide out to adjust the height to your liking. The bottom halves are shelved cupboards with a large drawer at the base of each. The one cabinet has a leaf that pulls out in the middle part. Each cabinet has two roller doors that close from the bottom and from the top.
These are exceptional pieces, and they can be used in an office, as clothing and shoes closets, or as kitchen cabinets. The wood seems to be a stained meranti. The quality if the workmanship is very good.
Condition: Very good, considering the age. The locks are not in working condition.
