A Scandinavian modern design dining table with a trestle base. The oval top expands with a hidden leaf that transforms it from a six to eight seater. The base is solid wood, the top has an oak finish with lovely grain. Right next to where the two leaves come together, a 14cm wide strip of veneer has been replaced, across the full width of the top. A slight shade difference is visible, otherwise it has been very neatly done. The table has a new satin varnish finish that is water but not heat resistant.
