A re-upholstered 'Ercol Windsor' sofa made of beech wood with a dark finish. This low-slung, three seat couch is from the early 1950's Ercol 'Old colonial' range and has a rounded, slatted back with a fleur-de-lis motif, and upward curved arm rests.
It is a rare sight in South Africa in this condition.
The fabric is an off white (that leans towards grey) rough weave. The cushions are new, top quality, high density foam. (Scatter cushions are not included).
Condition: Good. Wear consistent with age. An arm has been repaired on the sofa - some of the distinctive Ercol dark wax stain has been lost on the arm but it still looks beautiful. Consult the pictures.
Dimensions: 173.5 x 89 x 75 cm (h) and 35 cm seat height.
