Danish 182 Gyngestol by Frank Reenskaug for Bramin, 1950s
"Gyngestol" is Danish for rocking chair. This rocking chair, model no 182 from Bramin Møbler, was designed by Frank Reenskaug in 1958. The wood is teak and a new, loose seat cushion has been made with off-white herringbone fabric.
The inventive design and craftsmanship in this delicate chair is of very high quality. These chairs originally had the option of a hanging back cushion.
Condition: Restored. Very good.
