A stunning 1950's African teak coffee table that bears all the qualities of a piece made by a master cabinet maker and designer. Solid wood tables and sideboards from the mid-century are scarce since large flat pieces of solid wood tend to buckle, except if you use thick enough sheets, and there is more than enough wood in this table never to bend.
It is reminiscent of the work of famous mid-century designers such as Adrian Pearsall. Two side tables came with this one and they can be found here.
Condition: Great. Sanded and sealed. What seem like marks on the top, are actually part of the wood grain.
Dimensions: 151 x 59 x 40 cm (h)
