A Set of Six 1960's Scandi Carvers

Six beautifully made carver chairs for a dining or board room. The wood, that appears to be rosewood, is wild and wonderful, with a swirling red and black grain in places. These chairs are unique - they were probably made as a once off project by a master cabinet maker in the sixties. At close inspection and extensive research we (very excitedly) found very similar chair design by acclaimed mid-century Norwegian designer, Tjørben Afdal, but enquries to a reseaercher of Norwegian furniture, brought to light that these are very close, vintage replicas and we can hence credit Afdal for the design (look at the last picture below fir the Afdal chair).
