The AAC20 is a contemporary Danish chair by one of Denmark's top designers, Hee Welling, for one of the most innovative new Danish companies, Hay. The AAC20 is already a furniture design icon.
The base is powder coated cast aluminium and the curved polypropelene shell is lined with a thin layer of foam and pale blue felt.
Welling has received a number of design awards, including the Bo Bedre Award (Denmark), Good Design Award (USA) and has been nominated as the Danish designer of the year in both 2013 and 2014. Welling is the son of a cabinetmaker, and his fascination with production techniques, materials and machinery was fired as a child.
Condition: Very good. The felt on one of the chairs is slightly stained, but we decided to rather keep the original than replace it. It is hardly visible. Look at the pictures for detail.
